Gran Canaria's one lounge — a buffet, a bar and a sun-soaked runway terrace.
The Sala Galdós is the single VIP lounge at Gran Canaria Airport (LPA), run by Spanish airport operator AENA. You'll find it airside on the second floor (Level 2) of Area C, near the boarding gates, so you'll need to clear security first. What makes it useful for most travellers is that it's genuinely pay-per-visit: you can buy a day pass on the AENA website, through the AENA app — often the cheapest route — or at the door subject to capacity, with no airline status or membership required. Priority Pass and DragonPass members are welcomed too, as are premium-cabin passengers and eligible alliance-status holders. Inside, the lounge pairs a hot-and-cold buffet and a bar with a business area, flight-information screens and a children's play space, but its signature feature is the outdoor terrace looking out over the runway — a genuine draw in Gran Canaria's reliable sunshine. Access opens up to four hours before departure and the lounge is open daily from 06:00 to 22:00.
Lotação · busy at peak
A workable pre-flight spot with complimentary Wi-Fi, power near most seats and a dedicated business area with internet-connected PCs and printing. Fine for email and light work, though seating is lounge-style rather than desk-focused.
A self-service hot-and-cold buffet alongside a bar with wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. Expect a spread of warm dishes, salads, sandwiches, snacks, fruit and pastries that refreshes through the day, with local Canarian touches among the selection. It's a comfortable refuel rather than fine dining, and the bar is a step up from the typical snacks-only island lounge.

Buying a day pass through the AENA app is often cheaper than paying at the door — and worth doing ahead at busy holiday peaks.
Claim a terrace seat early; the runway views make it the lounge's most popular spot.
This is Gran Canaria's only lounge, so there's no fallback if it's full — pre-book if your flight is at a peak time.
Access opens up to four hours before departure, so you can settle in well ahead of boarding.
Travelling with kids? There's a children's play area, which makes the wait easier.
