Sobre JED

King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is Saudi Arabia's gateway to Makkah and one of the country's busiest airports, and its lounge scene is concentrated in the modern Terminal 1. Most of the 15 lounges we track are independent contract lounges — Plaza Premium, the two Wellcome lounges and Aerotel — reachable on Priority Pass or DragonPass, alongside SAUDIA's Alfursan Golden Lounges for premium and SkyTeam passengers. The older North Terminal adds the First Class Lounge (Priority Pass, DragonPass, oneworld and pay-in) and Tasheel Business, while the Domestic Terminal carries the Flynas and naSmiles lounges for flights within Saudi Arabia. If you're flying internationally out of Jeddah, a Priority Pass or DragonPass membership is the most reliable way in; premium-cabin passengers can use their airline's lounge, and several lounges also sell a walk-in pay-in entry. Always check whether your lounge is in Terminal 1, the North Terminal or the Domestic Terminal before clearing security.

T1

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 is Jeddah's modern main terminal and SAUDIA's home, and it holds most of the airport's lounges. Independent contract lounges — Plaza Premium, the two Wellcome lounges and Aerotel — sit here on Priority Pass, DragonPass and alliance access, while SAUDIA runs its Alfursan Golden Lounges for domestic and international premium passengers near gates A05 and A26.

  • Densest cluster of lounges at JED, including the airside Plaza Premium
  • Priority Pass and DragonPass cover the independent contract lounges here
  • SAUDIA Alfursan Golden Lounges serve premium SAUDIA and SkyTeam passengers
  • Wellcome Lounge near Duty Free takes Priority Pass and walk-in pay-in
NORTH

North Terminal

The North Terminal is Jeddah's older international terminal, used by a range of foreign carriers. Lounge coverage is thinner than Terminal 1, but the First Class Lounge — just past immigration — takes Priority Pass, DragonPass and oneworld and also sells walk-in entry, with Tasheel Business and a couple of SkyTeam-aligned lounges rounding out the field.

  • Jeddah's older international terminal — fewer lounges than T1
  • First Class Lounge takes Priority Pass, DragonPass, oneworld and pay-in
  • Tasheel Business Lounge serves Star Alliance passengers
  • SkyTeam-aligned lounges (Al Shatee, TasHeel First Class) sit here too
DOM

Domestic Terminal

Jeddah's domestic operation has its own lounges, reachable on membership rather than airline status. The Flynas Lounge sits airside on DragonPass, and the naSmiles Lounge takes Priority Pass — both useful for travellers on domestic flights within Saudi Arabia rather than international departures.

  • Separate lounges for domestic flights within Saudi Arabia
  • Flynas Lounge is the airside DragonPass option
  • naSmiles Lounge accepts Priority Pass members
  • If you're connecting to an international flight, you'll change terminals
Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em JED.

Jeddah is a Priority Pass and DragonPass airport first — those two memberships unlock the independent contract lounges that make up most of the field, concentrated in Terminal 1. SAUDIA's Alfursan Golden Lounges serve premium SAUDIA and SkyTeam passengers, oneworld and Star Alliance status reach a few airline-aligned lounges, and several lounges also sell a walk-in pay-in entry. Check whether your lounge is in Terminal 1, the North Terminal or the Domestic Terminal before you clear security.

Priority Pass

Priority Pass is accepted at several JED lounges, including the Terminal 1 Plaza Premium (International Departures) and Wellcome lounges, the North Terminal First Class Lounge and the Domestic naSmiles Lounge. Check the per-lounge page to confirm your terminal.

01

Lead with Terminal 1

  • Most of Jeddah's lounges are in the modern Terminal 1 — the densest cluster and the easiest to access on Priority Pass or DragonPass.
  • SAUDIA flies from Terminal 1, so its Alfursan Golden Lounges (near gates A05 and A26) are here too.
  • The North and Domestic terminals have far fewer lounges, so match your lounge to your terminal before clearing security.
02

Membership over airline

  • Many JED lounges are independent contract lounges rather than airline-branded, so a Priority Pass or DragonPass card matters more than your carrier.
  • Priority Pass covers the widest spread across all three terminals; DragonPass adds the Wellcome International, First Class and Flynas lounges.
  • If the membership lounges are full, several also sell a walk-in pay-in entry.
03

Give yourself time

  • Jeddah is busy around the Hajj and Umrah seasons and the evening international banks — arrive early and don't bank on a long lounge stay.
  • Immigration and security can be slow at peak, so clear the checkpoint before counting on lounge time.
  • The independent lounges can reach capacity in peak periods; a pay-in entry is the fallback if your membership lounge is full.
04

Domestic vs international

  • The Domestic Terminal lounges (Flynas, naSmiles) are for flights within Saudi Arabia, not international departures.
  • Domestic-to-international connections mean changing terminals, so plan the transfer time.
  • On the international side, First Class Lounge sits just past immigration in the North Terminal — easy to reach after the checkpoint.
