Sobre USM

Koh Samui (USM) is Bangkok Airways' privately run island airport, with a low-rise, garden-style design and two terminals. Its lounge scene is entirely Bangkok Airways' own Blue Ribbon Club Lounges — one airside in the International Terminal, near Gate 6, and one airside in the Domestic Terminal. The international lounge is the more flexible of the two, accepting DragonPass and Priority Pass as well as Bangkok Airways Business Class passengers and eligible FlyerBonus members, with a hot and cold buffet and complimentary house wine, beer and liquor. The domestic lounge serves Bangkok Airways' premium-cabin and member guests on the domestic side. Both lounges are airside, so clear security first and pick the one in the terminal you're flying from; if you're connecting between domestic and international flights, plan for a terminal change.

Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em USM.

Koh Samui is a Bangkok Airways airport through and through — both lounges are the airline's Blue Ribbon Club Lounges. The International Terminal lounge is the flexible one, opening up to DragonPass and Priority Pass holders as well as Bangkok Airways premium passengers, while the Domestic Terminal lounge is geared to Bangkok Airways' own premium-cabin and member guests. Both sit airside, so clear security first, and match the lounge to the terminal you're flying from.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass is accepted at the Blue Ribbon Club Lounge in the International Terminal, airside near Gate 6. It's one of the two memberships that get you into the international lounge without flying Bangkok Airways in a premium cabin.

Priority Pass

Priority Pass also opens the International Terminal Blue Ribbon Club Lounge. Present a valid membership with your boarding pass; note that the domestic lounge is geared to Bangkok Airways passengers rather than the lounge networks.

01

Match the lounge to your terminal

  • Koh Samui has separate International and Domestic terminals, each with its own Blue Ribbon Club Lounge — pick the one in the terminal you're flying from.
  • Both lounges are airside, so clear passport control and security before heading to the lounge.
  • If you're connecting domestic-to-international, you'll move between terminals, so plan the transfer time.
02

Access depends on the terminal

  • DragonPass and Priority Pass work at the International Terminal lounge but not the domestic one — carry a Bangkok Airways premium ticket for the domestic side.
  • Both lounges accept Bangkok Airways Business Class passengers and eligible FlyerBonus members.
  • Both are purchasable, so pay-in entry may be possible at the door if there's space.
03

What to expect inside

  • These are calm, Thai-inspired lounges rather than large flagship spaces — comfortable seating, soft lighting and a relaxed island feel.
  • Expect a hot and cold buffet with snacks and fruit, plus complimentary house wine, beer and liquor.
  • The international lounge notes a maximum three-hour stay, so time your arrival to your departure.
04

Timing your visit

  • The International Terminal lounge keeps long hours (around 04:30–23:00) to cover early and late international flights.
  • The Domestic Terminal lounge runs shorter daytime hours, so check the times before counting on it for an early or late domestic departure.
  • Koh Samui is a small, low-rise airport — the lounges rarely feel crowded, even at peak.
