Sobre LXA

Lhasa Gonggar Airport (LXA) is the main gateway to Tibet, sitting on the plateau at around 3,600 metres. The lounge scene is small — we track two lounges, both after security in the departures area. The Airport Business Lounge is the airline-aligned option, open to SkyTeam Elite Plus members and passengers flying Business or First Class, and is the better-equipped of the two with a TV room, internet terminals and free Wi-Fi. The airside First Class Lounge is the more flexible way in: it's reachable on DragonPass and also sells a pay-in walk-up entry, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the Tibetan plateau and a maximum two-hour stay. Both are quiet, modest spaces serving snacks and soft drinks rather than a full hot buffet, so they suit a short rest before a flight more than a long stay.
