The Blue Sky Premier Lounge is the airside choice at Makassar's Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, sitting on the 2nd floor of Terminal 1 in the domestic departures area, directly opposite the security checks. Because it's after the checkpoint, it's the lounge to head for once you've cleared security and are waiting at the gate. Access is on Priority Pass, and the lounge also sells a pay-per-visit entry, plus it accepts digital lounge cards. It's open 24 hours daily, which makes it the round-the-clock option at UPG for very early or late departures. The space has a contemporary design with comfortable seating areas built for relaxing before a flight, and it carries some genuinely useful extras for a domestic lounge: a shower to freshen up on a long travel day, a separate prayer room, and a separate smoking area. Refreshments run to complimentary snacks and soft drinks, with coffee, tea, fresh juices and water available. Stays are capped at around three hours, and children under 6 are admitted free.
