Malpensa's Star Alliance lounge — Lufthansa's 2018 design refresh in Schengen Area A.
The Lufthansa Lounge at Milan Malpensa sits in Terminal 1A's Schengen departure area (Area A, Level 1), just after security. Remodelled in January 2018, it was the first Lufthansa lounge to feature the airline's then-new design concept, giving it a more contemporary feel than older Lufthansa spaces. It serves Star Alliance premium-cabin passengers and eligible frequent-flyer status holders departing from the Schengen side of Malpensa. Inside you'll find the familiar Lufthansa-lounge template — a buffet of hot and cold food, a bar with wines, beers and spirits, complimentary Wi-Fi and a mix of relaxation and work seating. For travellers flying Lufthansa or a Star Alliance partner on a Schengen route, it's the most consistent branded lounge option at the airport.

A workable pre-flight spot with Wi-Fi, power at many seats and seating you can use for a laptop. Fine for email and light work, though not a dedicated business lounge.
