Salon by FDI is the main independent lounge at Montpellier–Méditerranée Airport, sitting airside on Level 1 near gates 16 and 17 after passport control and security. Renovated in early 2025, it's the most flexible way into a lounge at MPL: Priority Pass and DragonPass members are welcome, SkyTeam Elite Plus and SkyTeam business or first-class passengers can use it, and it sells a walk-in day pass for travellers with no membership or status. The lounge offers a comfortable seating area, fast Wi-Fi, and a selection of snacks, cold cuts and beverages including soft drinks plus house wine and beer. As a compact regional lounge it's a relaxed pre-flight stop rather than a sprawling flagship, with power outlets, newspapers and magazines, flight information and air conditioning. For most travellers passing through Montpellier with a lounge card, SkyTeam status or the willingness to pay at the door, this is the default choice.
