Sobre KHN

Nanchang Changbei International Airport (KHN) is the main gateway to Jiangxi province in southeastern China, and we track six lounges across its two terminals. Most sit in Terminal 2, the larger passenger building: the airside First Class Lounge opens on DragonPass, Priority Pass and Star Alliance status, the landside CIP Lounge takes DragonPass before security, and the China Eastern and Jiangxi Air lounges serve SkyTeam and pay-per-visit passengers near the domestic gates. Terminal 1 carries a single SkyTeam lounge. DragonPass is the most useful membership to carry at Nanchang, with Priority Pass and alliance status covering part of the field and a couple of lounges open to pay-per-visit entry. Always check whether your lounge is landside or airside, and which terminal it's in, before you clear the checkpoint.

Onde nós realmente iríamos.

Best Overall

First Class Lounge

The First Class Lounge in Terminal 2 has the widest access at KHN — DragonPass, Priority Pass and Star Alliance Gold all get you in — and it sits airside after security, just past the checkpoint. With its broad membership coverage it's the default pick for most international travellers leaving Nanchang.

Best for DragonPass

CIP Lounge

The CIP Lounge is the landside Terminal 2 option on DragonPass, reached before passport control and security. It's handy if you arrive early and want to settle in before clearing the checkpoint, with a calmer, more spacious feel than the airside lounges.

Best Airline Lounge

China Eastern Nanchang Lounge

The China Eastern Nanchang Lounge in Terminal 2 is the best-equipped lounge we track at KHN, serving SkyTeam Elite Plus and China Eastern premium-cabin passengers near gate 216, with Wi-Fi, a bar and a business area among its facilities.

Best for Pay-Per-Visit

Jiangxi Air VIP Lounge

The Jiangxi Air VIP Lounge near gate 201 in Terminal 2 is a pay-per-visit option for travellers without lounge membership or status, so you can pay your way in for a quieter spot before a domestic departure.

Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em KHN.

Nanchang Changbei is a membership-and-status airport: DragonPass opens the most lounges, Priority Pass and Star Alliance reach the airside First Class Lounge, and SkyTeam status covers the China Eastern lounges. A couple of lounges are pay-per-visit. Always check whether your lounge is landside or airside, and which terminal it's in, before you clear the checkpoint.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass opens the most lounges at KHN — the landside CIP Lounge and the airside First Class Lounge, both in Terminal 2. It's the single most useful membership to carry here.

Priority Pass

Priority Pass is accepted at the First Class Lounge in Terminal 2, airside after security. Coverage is narrower than DragonPass, so confirm your lounge and terminal before you travel.

Airline status

Airline & alliance lounges

Star Alliance Gold status reaches the airside First Class Lounge and the Star Alliance lounge on the main departure floor in Terminal 2, while SkyTeam Elite Plus opens the China Eastern Nanchang Lounge and the Changbei Airport Lounge in Terminal 1. Access follows your ticket and frequent-flyer tier.

Pay-per-visit

A couple of Nanchang lounges, including the Jiangxi Air VIP Lounge near gate 201 in Terminal 2, take pay-per-visit entry, so you can pay your way in without a membership or airline status. Confirm the current rate and capacity at the door.

01

Lead with DragonPass

  • DragonPass covers more KHN lounges than Priority Pass — if you only carry one, it's the better bet at Nanchang.
  • Both DragonPass lounges are in Terminal 2: the CIP Lounge landside and the First Class Lounge airside.
  • Many of Nanchang's lounges are contract or airline lounges, so the right membership matters more than your carrier.
02

Landside vs airside

  • The CIP Lounge in Terminal 2 is landside, before passport control and security — useful if you arrive early.
  • The First Class Lounge is airside, after the checkpoint; clear security first to reach it.
  • Once you're through security you can't drop back to the landside CIP Lounge, so plan your visit around the checkpoint.
03

Mind the terminal

  • Terminal 1 carries only the SkyTeam Changbei Airport Lounge; most lounges are in the larger Terminal 2.
  • Confirm which terminal your flight uses before choosing a lounge — they're separate buildings.
  • If you're flying China Eastern or another SkyTeam carrier, the China Eastern lounge near gate 216 in Terminal 2 is the best-equipped option.
04

Give yourself time

  • Nanchang is a regional hub, so lounge hours often track flight operations rather than running around the clock — check before a very early or late flight.
  • The pay-per-visit Jiangxi Air VIP Lounge near gate 201 is a fallback if the membership lounges are busy or closed.
  • Facilities at KHN lounges are simpler than at major hubs — expect snacks and soft drinks rather than full hot buffets at most lounges.
