The American Express Centurion Lounge at Phoenix Sky Harbor opened in January 2020 and is the airport's premium lounge. It came out of a collaboration between American Express and MAG USA, the company behind the Escape Lounges, and the two brands sit side by side in Terminal 4: the Centurion Lounge shares an entrance with the pay-in Escape Lounge. Access is reserved for eligible American Express Platinum and Centurion cardholders — there's no pay-in or membership route on the Centurion side. For travellers who hold the right Amex card, it's the standout space at PHX; for everyone else, the Escape Lounge next door is the pay-in alternative through the same door.
