V03 VIP Lounge
The V03 VIP Lounge has the widest access of any lounge at Hongqiao — both DragonPass and Priority Pass get you in — and sits airside on the fourth floor of Terminal 1 after security, with a hot buffet, Wi-Fi and computer access. It's the most flexible choice for most Terminal 1 travellers.

Como entrar nas salas VIP em SHA.
Hongqiao is a DragonPass and Priority Pass airport first — those two memberships unlock most of the independent VIP lounges across both terminals. A couple of lounges sell paid walk-in entry, and the Air China lounges serve premium-cabin and Star Alliance passengers. Always check whether your lounge is in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, and whether it sits landside or airside, before you clear security.
DragonPass
DragonPass is accepted at the widest set of SHA lounges, including the First Class Lounge V1 and Juneyao V6 in Terminal 2, Reception Area Gate 6 landside in Terminal 1, and the airside V03 VIP Lounge. It's the single most useful membership here.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass works at the V03 VIP Lounge airside in Terminal 1, and the landside AVINEX VIP Lounge admits Priority Pass holders as well. Coverage is narrower than DragonPass, so check the per-lounge page before you travel.
Airline & alliance lounges
The V02 Air China Premium lounge (Terminal 1 international) and the Air China Domestic Lounge V8 (Terminal 2) serve Air China and Star Alliance partner premium passengers. Access follows your ticket and frequent-flyer tier.
Walk-in / paid entry
Several Hongqiao lounges sell entry for a fee regardless of your class of service, including the AVINEX VIP Lounge, the V02 Air China Premium lounge and the Air China Domestic Lounge V8, so you can pay per visit without a membership.
Saiba antes de ir.
Lead with DragonPass
- —DragonPass covers more Hongqiao lounges than Priority Pass — if you carry only one, it's the better bet here.
- —Most SHA lounges are independent VIP lounges rather than airline-branded, so the membership matters more than your airline.
- —Only the V03 VIP Lounge in Terminal 1 takes both DragonPass and Priority Pass.
Terminal 1 vs Terminal 2
- —Hongqiao's two terminals are separate buildings — pick a lounge in the terminal you're flying from before you go through security.
- —Terminal 2 is the larger, mostly domestic terminal; Terminal 1 mixes domestic and international flights.
- —If you're connecting between terminals, allow time to transfer — you can't move between them airside.
Airside vs landside
- —Most lounges sit airside after the security check — clear the checkpoint first.
- —Reception Area Gate 6 and the AVINEX VIP Lounge are landside in Terminal 1, useful before you pass security.
- —Check the per-lounge page for the exact floor and gate, as Hongqiao's lounges are spread across several levels.
Plan your stay
- —Several Hongqiao lounges cap visits at around two hours — don't count on a long stay.
- —Lounge hours run roughly from early morning to the last flight, so very early or very late departures may fall outside opening times.
- —The independent lounges are generally calm and rarely overcrowded, even at peak.
