Remodelled in February 2018, it carries a design that leans hard into Austrian landscape and culture: large-scale mountain panoramas run along the walls, specially conserved Austrian beech trees dot the space, and the lounge is hung with artwork and pictures by Austrian artists. It serves a hot and cold buffet alongside a full bar of soft drinks, house wine, beer and liquor, and is listed with a paid-entry route as well as Star Alliance Senator and Gold access. The important context: Austrian is mid-rebuild at Vienna. In December 2024 the airline opened a temporary lounge at the non-Schengen Gates G area that combined the previous Business and Senator lounges into a single space, with a permanent lounge planned for 2027.
