The Aeropuertos VIP Club is the most accessible lounge at Guayaquil's José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport, sitting airside in the International Terminal near gate 8 — past immigration, security and duty free. It's the only GYE lounge that takes both DragonPass and Priority Pass, and it also sells walk-in entry, so most international travellers can get in one way or another. The space is modern and deliberately calm, with soft lighting, comfortable seating in intimate groupings and local Ecuadorian artwork; large windows let in natural light by day. Complimentary snacks, soft drinks and house wine, beer and liquor are served, with stronger spirits chargeable, and there are shower facilities, luggage storage, computers, printing and Wi-Fi. Note the maximum three-hour stay.
