Sobre CVG

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) keeps lounge access simple: there are just two lounges, and both sit airside in Concourse B. CVG has a single terminal building, so you clear security and ride a short underground tram to the concourse — Concourse A is all-domestic and has no lounge. The Escape Lounge is the flexible, everyone option: it sells a walk-in day pass, accepts Priority Pass and DragonPass, and as an American Express Centurion Studio Partner welcomes eligible Platinum and Centurion cardholders. The Delta Sky Club, near gate B14, is the branded airline lounge for Delta and SkyTeam premium-cabin passengers and eligible Elite Plus members. Both open early at around 05:00 and close in the evening rather than running around the clock, so check the hours for a late departure.

01

Get to Concourse B first

  • Both CVG lounges are in Concourse B — clear security and take the underground tram from the main terminal to reach them.
  • The tram ride is short (about four minutes end to end), but factor it into your timing on a tight connection.
  • Concourse A is all-domestic and has no lounge, so there's nothing to chase down on that side.
02

Pick the right lounge for your access

  • Flying Delta or another SkyTeam carrier in a premium cabin? The Delta Sky Club is your lounge.
  • Everyone else — Priority Pass, DragonPass, Amex Platinum/Centurion or just paying — wants the Escape Lounge.
  • The Escape Lounge is the only pay-per-visit option at CVG, so it's the fallback if you have no airline status.
03

Mind the hours

  • Both lounges close in the evening rather than running 24 hours — the Delta Sky Club around 19:30 and the Escape Lounge around 20:00–21:00.
  • If your flight is a late-evening departure, check the closing time before counting on lounge access.
  • Early-morning departures are well covered, as both open around 05:00.
04

Beat the crowds

  • As a Centurion Studio Partner, the Escape Lounge can prioritise Amex cardholders when full — arrive early if you're entering on Priority Pass or DragonPass.
  • Pre-booking a walk-in slot online is usually cheaper than paying at the door and locks in entry at peak times.
  • Mid-morning and mid-afternoon are usually quieter than the early and evening departure peaks.
