Onde nós realmente iríamos.
Filoxenia Lounge
The Filoxenia Lounge is the better-equipped of Heraklion's two lounges, with runway views from the first floor above the check-in hall, a snack buffet, a bar pouring wine, beer and spirits, and Wi-Fi. If you have the access for it, it's the more complete pre-flight space at HER.
Filoxenia Lounge
The Filoxenia Lounge is the airline-status option at Heraklion, welcoming Star Alliance Gold and oneworld Sapphire members as well as business-class passengers. It sits on the first floor above the check-in desks, with runway views, a snack buffet, a bar and Wi-Fi.
Evropi Lounge
The Evropi Lounge is Heraklion's pay-in option: buy a day pass and you're in, no airline status or membership required. It's the simplest way into a lounge at HER if you're flying economy or a low-cost carrier and just want somewhere calmer than the terminal floor before your flight.

Como entrar nas salas VIP em HER.
Heraklion keeps lounge access simple. The Filoxenia Lounge is reached through airline status — Star Alliance Gold or oneworld Sapphire — or a business-class ticket, while the Evropi Lounge sells a walk-in day pass to anyone. There's no single lounge-membership network covering both, so the right route depends on which lounge you're aiming for.
Star Alliance & oneworld status
The Filoxenia Lounge admits Star Alliance Gold and oneworld Sapphire members travelling on an eligible flight. If you hold qualifying status with either alliance, this is your way in at Heraklion — present your card and boarding pass at the door.
Business class ticket
A business-class ticket on a Star Alliance or oneworld carrier gets you into the Filoxenia Lounge directly, with no membership needed — the simplest route if you're flying premium out of Heraklion.
Walk-in day pass
The Evropi Lounge sells entry on a pay-per-visit basis, so you can buy a day pass without airline status or a membership. It's the open-to-everyone option at Heraklion — handy if you're flying economy or a low-cost carrier.

Match the lounge to your access
- —Heraklion's two lounges don't share an access route — Filoxenia is status- and business-class only, while Evropi is pay-per-visit.
- —If you hold Star Alliance Gold or oneworld Sapphire, the Filoxenia Lounge is the better-equipped of the two.
- —Flying economy with no status? The Evropi Lounge's walk-in day pass is the way in.
Finding the Filoxenia Lounge
- —The Filoxenia Lounge is on the first floor above the check-in hall, roughly above desks 15-22 — look up once you're in the departures area.
- —It offers runway views, so it's a pleasant spot to watch the apron before boarding.
- —Because it's a single-terminal airport, you won't have to change buildings to reach it.
Summer crowds at HER
- —Heraklion is a seasonal holiday airport that gets very busy through the Crete summer — expect long lines at check-in and security in peak months.
- —Arrive early in summer; the lounges are a calmer place to wait out a packed terminal.
- —Outside the May-October season the airport is far quieter and lounge space is easier to find.
Before you rely on a lounge
- —Lounge opening hours at a seasonal airport can vary — confirm the lounge is open for your flight, especially early or late departures.
- —Capacity is limited at a smaller airport, so a lounge can fill during a busy departure bank.
- —Check current access terms on the per-lounge page before you travel.
