Sobre KHH

Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH) is the main gateway for southern Taiwan, and its lounges are concentrated in the international departures area, airside after immigration and security. The four lounges we track split between airline-branded and independent options: EVA Air and China Airlines each run their own lounge for premium-cabin passengers and alliance status holders, while the independent Southern Premium Lounge accepts DragonPass and oneworld, and a Plaza Premium Lounge adds a further choice on the departure floor. If you're flying EVA Air or China Airlines in a premium cabin, your airline's lounge is the simplest route in; otherwise DragonPass opens the Southern Premium Lounge. Kaohsiung is a calmer, smaller airport than Taipei Taoyuan, so the lounges rarely feel crowded outside the main departure banks.

01

Match the lounge to your airline

  • EVA Air and China Airlines each run their own branded lounge at KHH — your airline and cabin decide which one you can use.
  • EVA Air's lounge is the Star Alliance option; China Airlines' is the SkyTeam option.
  • If you aren't flying either carrier, the Southern Premium Lounge on DragonPass is the most reliable independent way in.
02

Everything is airside

  • All Kaohsiung lounges sit in the international departures area, after immigration and security — clear the checkpoint first.
  • The Southern Premium Lounge is up on the 3rd floor; turn left after the exit security check and follow the corridor.
  • The China Airlines Lounge is on the departure floor, on the left after the customs baggage check point.
03

A quieter southern gateway

  • Kaohsiung is far smaller and calmer than Taipei Taoyuan, so the lounges rarely feel crowded outside peak departure banks.
  • International schedules concentrate around certain dawn and evening waves — the lounges are busiest then.
  • Several lounges have tarmac-facing windows, a relaxed spot to wait between southern-Taiwan departures.
04

Plan your access ahead

  • If you carry DragonPass, the Southern Premium Lounge is your destination — confirm it on the per-lounge page.
  • Premium-cabin tickets on EVA Air or China Airlines include lounge access automatically; no membership needed.
  • Coverage at KHH is narrower than at a big hub, so check your specific access route before you fly.
