Sobre TPE

Taiwan Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) spreads its 12 lounges across two terminals. Terminal 2 is the busier of the two for lounges: EVA Air operates four distinct lounges there — The Garden, The Infinity, The Star and The Club — on the mezzanine above the retail concourse, alongside the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge, Starlux's US-bound Galactic Lounge, the independent Oriental Club and a Plaza Premium Lounge in Zone C. Terminal 1 carries the China Airlines Dynasty Lounge, the Cathay Pacific First and Business Class Lounge, Starlux's original Galactic Lounge and a second Plaza Premium Lounge. The independent lounges are the most flexible way in — Priority Pass opens the Oriental Club and both Plaza Premium lounges, DragonPass adds the Oriental Club, and the Plaza Premium lounges also sell paid entry. The airline lounges follow your cabin and frequent-flyer tier. Because the terminals are separate, always pick a lounge in the terminal you're flying from.

Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em TPE.

Taoyuan splits cleanly between independent lounges you can reach on a membership or a paid pass, and airline lounges tied to your cabin and frequent-flyer tier. Priority Pass and DragonPass open the independent Oriental Club and Plaza Premium lounges, the Plaza Premium lounges also sell paid entry, and EVA Air, China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and Starlux run their own lounges for premium and status passengers. Always check whether your lounge is in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 before you clear security.

Lounge membership

Priority Pass

Priority Pass is accepted at the Oriental Club Lounge and both Plaza Premium lounges (Terminal 2 Zone C and Terminal 1 Zone C). It's the most useful single membership for the independent lounges at TPE — confirm which terminal yours is in before you travel.

DragonPass

DragonPass opens the Oriental Club Lounge in Terminal 2, which also accepts Priority Pass. If you carry DragonPass, check the per-lounge page, as it covers a narrower set of TPE lounges than the paid-entry route.

Walk-in day pass

The Plaza Premium lounges welcome travellers regardless of airline or cabin for a fee, so you can pay per visit without a membership or status. Booking ahead online is usually cheaper than paying at the door and guarantees a spot at busy times.

Airline & alliance lounges

EVA Air runs four Star Alliance lounges in Terminal 2 graded by cabin and tier, with the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge nearby. Cathay Pacific serves oneworld premium passengers in Terminal 1, and China Airlines hosts SkyTeam elite and premium flyers. Access follows your ticket and frequent-flyer status.

01

Terminal 1 vs Terminal 2

  • Taoyuan's lounges are split between two terminals — pick one in the terminal you're flying from before clearing security.
  • EVA Air, Starlux's US-bound lounge and the independent Oriental Club and Plaza Premium lounges are in Terminal 2; China Airlines, Cathay Pacific and a second Plaza Premium are in Terminal 1.
  • Match your lounge to your airline's terminal — EVA Air flies from Terminal 2, China Airlines mainly from Terminal 1.
02

Independent access strategy

  • The Oriental Club Lounge takes both DragonPass and Priority Pass — the widest independent access at TPE if you don't have airline status.
  • Both Plaza Premium lounges sell paid entry, so you can pay per visit without any membership.
  • Booking a Plaza Premium slot online ahead of time is usually cheaper than paying at the door.
03

Understand the EVA Air tiers

  • EVA Air's four Terminal 2 lounges are graded — The Garden for Diamond members, The Infinity for Business and First, The Star for Star Alliance Gold, and The Club for Silver members.
  • The Infinity and The Star share an entrance; make a right for The Infinity once inside.
  • Your EVA Air cabin and Infinity MileageLands tier decide which lounge you're directed to.
04

Timing & crowds

  • Taoyuan's long-haul banks fill the lounges fast, and EVA Air's premium lounges can get busy — arrive early if you want a quiet seat.
  • The compact Starlux and EVA lounges reach capacity at peak; the larger independents are a reliable fallback.
  • Allow time to find the EVA Air cluster — it sits on the mezzanine level above the Terminal 2 retail concourse.
