The TAP Premium Lounge Atlântico is TAP Air Portugal's lounge on the non-Schengen side of Lisbon's Terminal 1, located past passport control. It's the lounge to head for if you're flying long-haul or outside the Schengen area on TAP or a Star Alliance partner — access is for premium-cabin passengers and eligible Star Alliance Gold members. Where the Schengen-side Tejo lounge leans bright and lively, the Atlântico feels more like a serene retreat: a sophisticated Portuguese design with warm lighting, natural materials like cork and ceramics, and contemporary reinterpretations of Portuguese art that give it a strong sense of place. The space is thoughtfully divided into zones for relaxation, dining and work, with a moderate noise level — a mix of soft background music and quiet conversation. For non-Schengen departures on a Star Alliance carrier, it's a calm, design-led place to settle before a longer flight.
