Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport · Mumbai, India

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International (BOM) splits its lounges between Terminal 2, which handles all international plus some domestic flights, and the domestic Terminal 1. T2 holds the alliance and premium lounges — GVK, Adani and the American Express Centurion Lounge — while DragonPass and Priority Pass open most of the contract lounges across both terminals.

Sobre BOM

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) is Mumbai's gateway and one of India's busiest, with its lounges split between Terminal 2 and Terminal 1. Terminal 2 handles all international flights plus some domestic services and carries the densest, most premium cluster of lounges — the GVK Lounge for SkyTeam, the Adani Lounge West Wing for oneworld, a Star Alliance lounge, and the American Express Centurion Lounge, alongside DragonPass and Priority Pass contract lounges and a dedicated arrivals lounge. Terminal 1 is the domestic terminal, where most lounges are independent DragonPass contract lounges, with the TFS Travel Club Lounge near gates 23-24 also taking Priority Pass and walk-in pay-in customers. Because the two terminals are separate buildings, always pick a lounge in the terminal you're flying from.

Best Overall

GVK Lounge by TFS and PERFORMA

The GVK Lounge by TFS and Performa is Terminal 2's flagship, a large contemporary lounge open around the clock that serves SkyTeam premium passengers and eligible status holders. It's the most established lounge at BOM and the natural choice for most international departures from T2.

Best Premium Card Lounge

American Express The Centurion Lounge

The American Express Centurion Lounge at Terminal 2 offers complimentary à-la-carte dining and a full bar to Centurion and Platinum cardholders flying domestic, with a separate hot-buffet and work area for Business, Corporate and Platinum Reserve cards. A standout if you hold the right Amex.

Best for Pay-Per-Visit

Aviserv Lounge (West Wing)

The Aviserv Lounge in Terminal 2's West Wing takes both DragonPass and Priority Pass, so you can get in on a lounge membership without airline status. It sits landside, making it a useful stop before you clear security.

Best for Arrivals

Aviserv Arrivals Lounge East

The Aviserv Arrivals Lounge in Terminal 2 is built for inbound passengers who want to freshen up after landing in Mumbai — a pay-per-visit arrivals space the departure lounges don't cover.

Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em BOM.

Mumbai is a DragonPass and Priority Pass airport for independent access, with airline and alliance lounges in Terminal 2 and a couple of premium card and pay-in routes. Terminal 2 carries the alliance lounges and the American Express Centurion Lounge; Terminal 1 leans on DragonPass contract lounges. Always check whether your lounge is in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 before you travel, as the two terminals are separate buildings.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass is accepted at the widest set of BOM lounges, including most of the airside contract lounges in Terminal 1 and the Aviserv lounge in Terminal 2. It's the single most useful membership across the airport.

Priority Pass

Priority Pass works at the Terminal 2 Aviserv Lounge (West Wing) and the TFS Travel Club Lounge in Terminal 1. Coverage is narrower than DragonPass, so confirm your specific lounge and terminal before you travel.

01

Mind the terminal

  • Mumbai's Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are separate buildings — pick a lounge in the terminal you're flying from.
  • All international flights use Terminal 2; Terminal 1 is domestic only, including the T1C concourse.
  • A free inter-terminal transfer connects the two, but allow plenty of time if you need to switch sides.
02

Lead with DragonPass

  • DragonPass covers more BOM lounges than Priority Pass — if you only carry one, it's the better bet here.
  • Many Mumbai lounges are independent contract lounges rather than airline-branded, so the membership matters more than your airline.
  • Priority Pass still works at the T2 Aviserv Lounge and the T1 Travel Club Lounge.
03

Timing & crowds

  • Mumbai's late-evening international long-haul bank fills the Terminal 2 lounges fast — arrive early if you want a seat.
  • Domestic peaks in Terminal 1 are busiest early morning and early evening.
  • Security and immigration at BOM can be slow at peak, so don't count on a long lounge stay.
04

Making the most of access

  • The American Express Centurion Lounge in Terminal 2 is a genuine step up if you hold an eligible Amex card.
  • The TFS Travel Club Lounge in Terminal 1 sells walk-in entry, a useful fallback when the membership lounges are full.
  • The Aviserv Arrivals Lounge is for passengers landing in Mumbai, not departing — handy after a long-haul flight.
