Sobre PER

Perth Airport (PER) is Western Australia's main gateway, and its lounges split across two parts of the airport. Terminal 1 is the international and Virgin Australia domestic building, with the densest lounge cluster: the independent Aspire Lounge (DragonPass and oneworld), the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge, the Air New Zealand International Lounge, the Qantas international transit lounge built for the ultra-long-haul Perth–London service, and the Virgin Australia Lounge. Qantas moved its Perth operation into Terminals 3 and 4, which now hold the Qantas Club and Domestic Business lounges for members and eligible oneworld passengers, plus the invitation-only Chairman's Lounge. Perth is an airline-and-alliance lounge airport more than a pay-in one — your carrier and frequent-flyer tier usually decide your access, and the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 1 is the main option if you don't have airline status. Because the international and Qantas domestic terminals are separate buildings, always confirm which one your lounge is in before clearing security.

T1

Terminal 1 (International & Virgin Domestic)

Terminal 1 is Perth's international building and also home to Virgin Australia's domestic operation. It holds the widest mix of lounges: the independent Aspire Lounge (DragonPass and oneworld), the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge, the Air New Zealand International Lounge, the Qantas international transit lounge for the Perth–London service, and the Virgin Australia Lounge on the domestic side. All sit airside after security.

  • Perth's international terminal, plus Virgin Australia's domestic lounge
  • Aspire Lounge takes DragonPass and serves oneworld passengers
  • Singapore Airlines SilverKris reopened here in March 2024
  • Qantas runs an international transit lounge for the Perth–London flight
T3T4

Qantas Domestic Terminals (T3 & T4)

Qantas moved its Perth operation into Terminals 3 and 4, which now hold the airline's domestic lounges. Terminal 4 has the Qantas Club and the Qantas Domestic Business Lounge for members and eligible oneworld passengers, and the invitation-only Qantas Chairman's Lounge serves the carrier's most senior members. All are on the Qantas domestic side, separate from the international Terminal 1.

  • Qantas' domestic home at Perth after relocating out of Terminal 1
  • The Qantas Club and Domestic Business Lounge are in Terminal 4
  • The Chairman's Lounge is invitation-only, for Qantas' top-tier members
  • Separate from Terminal 1 — allow time if connecting to an international flight
Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em PER.

Perth is mostly an airline-and-alliance lounge airport: Qantas runs the largest cluster of lounges on the domestic side for its members and oneworld passengers, while Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia serve their own premium travellers in Terminal 1. The one broadly accessible independent option is the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 1, which takes DragonPass and oneworld. Check whether your lounge is in Terminal 1 or the Qantas domestic terminals before clearing security.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass is accepted at the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 1, the main independent lounge at Perth. It's the most useful lounge membership here, since most other PER lounges are airline-run rather than contract lounges.

DragonPass
Airline status

Airline & alliance lounges

oneworld status and Qantas Club membership open the Qantas Club and Domestic Business lounges in Terminal 4, and the Aspire Lounge in T1. Star Alliance status reaches the Singapore Airlines SilverKris and Air New Zealand lounges, and Virgin Australia status passengers use the Virgin Australia Lounge. Access follows your ticket and tier.

Premium cabin

Business & First class ticket

A premium-cabin ticket on your carrier or an alliance partner gets you into that airline's Perth lounge — Singapore Airlines Business and First passengers use SilverKris, and Qantas international Business passengers use the transit lounge for the Perth–London flight.

Qantas Club membership and Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold/Platinum (or equivalent oneworld Sapphire/Emerald) status open the Qantas domestic lounges. The Chairman's Lounge is invitation-only and cannot be bought or accessed on status alone.

01

Mind the terminals

  • Perth's international and Virgin domestic flights use Terminal 1; Qantas domestic uses Terminals 3 and 4 — they are separate buildings.
  • If you're connecting between a Qantas domestic flight and an international service, allow time to move between the terminals.
  • Qantas relocated out of Terminal 1, so the old T1 Qantas Lounge is now the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge.
02

Access strategy

  • Perth is airline-lounge heavy — your airline and frequent-flyer tier matter more than a lounge membership here.
  • Without status, the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 1 is the one broadly accessible option, on DragonPass or oneworld.
  • Qantas Club membership opens the domestic lounges if you fly Qantas regularly out of Perth.
03

International departures

  • Terminal 1 has the densest lounge cluster — Aspire, SilverKris, Air New Zealand and the Qantas transit lounge.
  • The Qantas Perth International Transit Lounge is built around the ultra-long-haul Perth–London service.
  • Singapore Airlines' SilverKris reopened in 2024 with a refreshed design drawing on its flagship Changi lounge.
04

Timing & comfort

  • Perth's international departures cluster in the evening — lounges are busiest then, so arrive early for a seat.
  • Most PER lounges sit airside after security; clear the checkpoint before heading to the lounge.
  • The domestic Qantas lounges are calmer mid-morning between the early and midday departure peaks.

We track 8 lounges at Perth Airport (PER), split between Terminal 1 — the international and Virgin domestic building — and the Qantas domestic terminals, T3 and T4. Terminal 1 holds the Aspire, SilverKris, Air New Zealand, Qantas transit and Virgin Australia lounges; the Qantas Club, Domestic Business and Chairman's lounges are on the Qantas domestic side.

Yes — the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 1 is the one broadly accessible independent lounge at Perth. It accepts DragonPass and oneworld passengers, so you don't need a specific airline's status to get in. Most other PER lounges are run by airlines for their own premium travellers.

Yes. Qantas runs its Perth lounges on the domestic side in Terminal 4 — the Qantas Club and the Qantas Domestic Business Lounge for members and eligible oneworld passengers — plus an international transit lounge in Terminal 1 for the Perth–London service. There is also an invitation-only Chairman's Lounge.

Terminal 1 holds the Aspire Lounge, the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge, the Air New Zealand International Lounge, the Qantas Perth International Transit Lounge and the Virgin Australia Lounge on the domestic side. All sit airside after security.

Perth's main independent lounge, the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 1, is in the DragonPass network and also serves oneworld passengers. Lounge-membership coverage at PER is narrow because most lounges are airline-run, so check your specific membership against the Aspire Lounge page before you travel.

Qantas relocated its Perth operations into Terminals 3 and 4, and the former T1 Qantas Lounge footprint was taken over by the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge, which reopened there in March 2024. Qantas now runs its everyday lounges on the domestic side.

Yes. The Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge is in Terminal 1, opposite gate 52, and reopened in March 2024. It combines Singapore Airlines' signature 'home away from home' design with elements of the carrier's flagship lounge at Changi Terminal 3, serving SIA premium-cabin and eligible Star Alliance passengers.

Perth's international and Virgin domestic flights use Terminal 1, while Qantas domestic uses Terminals 3 and 4, which are separate buildings. If you're connecting between a domestic Qantas flight and an international service, allow time to transfer between the terminals.
