The Qantas Perth International Transit Lounge opened in late March 2018 in Terminal 1, purpose-built for passengers departing on — or arriving from — Qantas' ultra-long-haul flight between Perth and London. When Qantas launched the non-stop Perth–London route, it needed a dedicated international space at PER, separate from its domestic lounges over in Terminals 3 and 4, and this transit lounge fills that role. It serves Qantas international and connecting passengers, giving them somewhere to settle before the long flight or to regroup on arrival. Access follows your Qantas ticket and frequent-flyer tier for the relevant international services, so check eligibility for your specific flight. For travellers on the Perth–London service or connecting through Terminal 1 on Qantas, it's the natural lounge to use.
