Sobre SSH

Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport (SSH) is Egypt's main Red Sea resort gateway, handling heavy charter and scheduled traffic to and from Europe. The two lounges we track are both Pearl Lounge sites, but they sit in different terminals and take different routes in. The Pearl Lounge in Terminal 2 is airside after passport control, next to Cafe Ritazza, and accepts DragonPass and Priority Pass. The Pearl Lounge in Terminal 1 is airside on level 2, reached by elevator, and sells a walk-in paid entry rather than relying on a membership. There's no airline or alliance lounge here, so your terminal and your access route decide which door you use. Both lounges have air conditioning, hot and cold food, Wi-Fi, charging and a children's play area — a useful cool-down before flying home from the coast.

Onde nós realmente iríamos.

Best on Lounge Membership

Pearl Lounge

The Pearl Lounge in Terminal 2 is the membership-friendly option at Sharm el-Sheikh — it accepts both DragonPass and Priority Pass and sits airside past passport control. With air conditioning, a hot and cold spread, a chargeable bar and a children's play area, it's an easy escape from the terminal if you carry either card.

Best for Pay-Per-Visit

Pearl Lounge Ssh Terminal

The Pearl Lounge in Terminal 1 is the pay-per-visit choice — it sells walk-in paid entry rather than relying on a membership, so you can buy your way in without DragonPass, Priority Pass or airline status. It adds a gaming area, printing and a smoking area on top of the usual food, Wi-Fi and charging.

Best for Families

Pearl Lounge Ssh Terminal

If you're flying home with children, the Terminal 1 Pearl Lounge is the most family-ready option at SSH — it pairs a children's play area with a gaming area for older kids, alongside air conditioning, hot and cold food, Wi-Fi and charging. As a walk-in paid-entry lounge, the whole family can get in without any membership.

Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em SSH.

Sharm el-Sheikh keeps it simple: both lounges are Pearl Lounge sites, but each terminal takes a different route in. Terminal 2's Pearl Lounge runs on DragonPass and Priority Pass, while Terminal 1's Pearl Lounge sells a walk-in paid entry. There's no airline or alliance lounge here, so your terminal and your membership decide which door you use — always check before clearing security.

Lounge membership

DragonPass

DragonPass is accepted at the Pearl Lounge in Terminal 2, which sits airside after passport control and security. Present a valid DragonPass membership with your boarding pass; check capacity at busy charter peaks.

Priority Pass

Priority Pass also opens the Pearl Lounge in Terminal 2. If you're departing from Terminal 1 instead, Priority Pass won't apply there — that lounge is paid entry — so match your card to the terminal you're flying from.

Walk-in paid entry

The Pearl Lounge in Terminal 1 sells walk-in paid entry, so you can pay per visit without any membership or airline status. Buy a pass at the door subject to capacity — handy if you don't hold DragonPass or Priority Pass.

02

Know your access route

  • If you carry DragonPass or Priority Pass, aim for the Terminal 2 lounge — that's where those memberships work.

  • There's no airline or alliance lounge at SSH, so membership or a paid pass is the way in.
03

Time your visit

  • Sharm el-Sheikh runs heavy charter and resort traffic, and the lounges can fill around the European departure banks.
  • The Terminal 2 lounge caps stays at around three hours, so plan your arrival around your boarding time.
  • Air conditioning makes either lounge a welcome cool-down from the Red Sea heat before you fly.
04

Travelling with family

  • Both Pearl Lounge sites have a children's play area, which helps if you're flying home with kids after a resort holiday.
