The Vientiane Airport VIP Lounge is the main lounge at Wattay International, sitting airside in the International Terminal after security and immigration. It's the more complete of the two lounges we track at VTE, offering hot and cold food, a bar serving alcohol, shower facilities, Wi-Fi and power at most seats — a comfortable place to wait out the gap before an international departure from the Laotian capital. Access is on DragonPass, or you can buy a walk-in day pass at around US$31 per guest for a two-hour stay. One quirk to plan for: DragonPass guests must first redeem a lounge voucher at the VIP Express Check-in counter, located before security opposite Check-in Counter 23, before heading through to the lounge.
