Sobre AMM

Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) is Jordan's main gateway and the hub of Royal Jordanian, and all eight of its lounges sit within a single modern passenger terminal. The Royal Jordanian Crown Lounge anchors the airline side, serving Royal Jordanian premium passengers and eligible oneworld, SkyTeam and Star Alliance status holders. Around it, independent contract lounges — the Level 4 Crown Lounge, the Petra Lounge near gates 208–210 and the Plaza Premium departures lounge — open up on DragonPass, Priority Pass or paid entry, so most travellers have a way in regardless of their airline. The STAR and Marhaba Plaza Premium lounges serve Star Alliance passengers, and paid-entry options like the Zain VIP Lounge and the transit-hotel Petra Lounge round out the field. Almost everything is airside after passport control and security, so clear the checkpoint first and check which gate area your lounge is near.

Best Overall

Crown Lounge

The independent Crown Lounge sits airside on Level 4 above the terminal and is open around the clock, taking both DragonPass and Priority Pass. It's the most flexible all-rounder at AMM — no airline status needed — with calm seating, a prayer area and a family room.

Best Airline Lounge

Royal Jordanian Crown Lounge

The Royal Jordanian Crown Lounge is the flagship branded experience at AMM, serving Royal Jordanian premium passengers and eligible oneworld, SkyTeam and Star Alliance status holders, with runway views and a distinctly Jordanian feel on the departure floor after Duty Free.

Best for Priority Pass

Plaza Premium Lounge (Departures)

The Plaza Premium Lounge in departures is the dedicated Priority Pass option at Queen Alia, sitting airside just past Duty Free on the left. A reliable familiar-format lounge for Priority Pass holders flying out of Amman.

Best Independent

Petra Lounge

The Petra Lounge is a comfortable airside independent near gates 208–210, reachable on DragonPass or Priority Pass. Jordanian-inspired decor, a prayer room and the smell of fresh Arabic coffee make it a pleasant pay-or-membership alternative to the Crown Lounge.

Guia de acesso

Como entrar nas salas VIP em AMM.

Queen Alia is a membership-led lounge airport: DragonPass and Priority Pass open the independent Crown and Petra lounges airside, and Priority Pass also covers the Plaza Premium departures lounge. Royal Jordanian and alliance status reach the airline-aligned lounges, while a couple of options sell or include paid entry. Almost everything is airside after passport control and security, so clear the checkpoint first and check which gate area your lounge sits near.

Lounge membership

Priority Pass

Priority Pass is the most widely accepted membership at AMM, covering the airside Crown Lounge, the Petra Lounge and the Plaza Premium Lounge in departures. Present your membership card with your boarding pass; check capacity at busy banks.

DragonPass

DragonPass opens the independent Crown Lounge and the Petra Lounge, both airside in the Main Terminal. It's a useful alternative to Priority Pass for the two contract lounges — confirm your specific lounge on its page before you travel.

A few AMM options take paid entry rather than a membership or status — the Zain VIP Lounge near Duty Free and the Petra Lounge at the Airport Transit Hotel — so you can pay per visit if you don't hold a card or alliance tier.

02

Clear the checkpoint first

  • Most AMM lounges are airside, reached after passport control and security — clear the checkpoint before you head for a lounge.
  • The airside Crown Lounge sits on Level 4 above the terminal; take the elevators past the Aldeasa duty free shop.

03

Flying Royal Jordanian
