Bosphorus Lounge
The Bosphorus Lounge is the most complete option at Mombasa — an airside Terminal 1 lounge with a runway view, a complimentary hot buffet, shower facilities, a prayer room, a gaming area and a children's play area. It's reachable on DragonPass or Priority Pass and works for almost every kind of traveller.
Safari Comfort Lounge
The Safari Comfort Lounge is a calm airside retreat in Terminal 1, with earthy decor, tarmac views and a quiet, relaxed feel. Reachable on DragonPass or Priority Pass, it's a dependable members' lounge for unwinding before an international departure from Mombasa.
Safari VIP Lounge
The Safari VIP Lounge is the only Mombasa lounge that adds oneworld access alongside DragonPass and Priority Pass, with leather armchairs, complimentary drinks and African-inspired decor. A polished airside Terminal 1 spot for oneworld passengers and members alike.
Domestic Lounge
The Domestic Lounge is the option on Mombasa's domestic side, a quiet space with a TV room, snacks and soft drinks. Access is via SkyTeam status rather than a lounge membership, so it suits eligible domestic travellers.

Como entrar nas salas VIP em MBA.
Mombasa is a DragonPass and Priority Pass airport for its airside international lounges — those two memberships open Safari Comfort, Safari VIP and Bosphorus in Terminal 1. The Safari VIP Lounge also takes oneworld access, and the domestic-side Domestic Lounge is reached via SkyTeam status. Several of the international lounges sell paid entry too, so you can pay per visit without a membership.
DragonPass
DragonPass is accepted at all three airside international lounges in Terminal 1 — Safari Comfort, Safari VIP and Bosphorus. It's the most widely useful membership at Mombasa.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass works at the same three airside Terminal 1 lounges — Safari Comfort, Safari VIP and Bosphorus. Present your card with a boarding pass at the door.
Walk-in day pass
The airside international lounges sell paid entry, so you can buy your way in without a membership. Booking ahead is usually cheaper than paying on arrival and guarantees a spot at busy times.
Airline & alliance access
The Safari VIP Lounge adds oneworld access on top of the membership routes, while the domestic-side Domestic Lounge is reached via SkyTeam status. Access here depends on your alliance tier and ticket.

Lead with DragonPass or Priority Pass
- —DragonPass and Priority Pass both open all three airside international lounges in Terminal 1 — either membership covers the same field at Mombasa.
- —The lounges are independent contract lounges rather than airline-branded, so the membership matters more than your airline.
Airside vs domestic
- —Safari Comfort, Safari VIP and Bosphorus sit airside, after passport control and the security check — clear the checkpoint first.
- —The Domestic Lounge is on the domestic side and uses SkyTeam access, not DragonPass or Priority Pass — don't confuse it with the airside international lounges.
Pick the right lounge for your trip
- —Bosphorus is the most family-friendly, with a children's play area, prayer room and shower facilities, plus a complimentary hot buffet.
- —Safari Comfort and Safari VIP are quieter, more relaxed spaces if you mainly want to unwind before a flight.
- —The Safari VIP Lounge caps stays at two hours — fine for a typical pre-flight wait, but worth knowing on a long connection.
Timing & hours
- —The Safari VIP Lounge runs 07:00–19:00, so check the time if you have an early or late departure.
- —The Domestic Lounge is open 05:30–21:00 for domestic departures.
- —Mombasa is a coastal leisure gateway — lounges can fill around the European and Gulf long-haul banks, so arrive in good time for a seat.
