Zanzibar Airport Lounges
Zanzibar International Airport · Zanzibar, Tanzania
Zanzibar International (ZNZ) is the island's main gateway, and we track five airside lounges across its two passenger terminals. Most sit in Terminal 2, with the Marhaba Lounge in the newer Terminal 3. They're all independent contract lounges, reachable on DragonPass or Priority Pass rather than airline status.

Onde nós realmente iríamos.
Marhaba Lounge
The Marhaba Lounge has the widest access of any ZNZ lounge — both DragonPass and Priority Pass get you in — and it's the only one we list with a hot-food buffet and a bar serving alcohol. It sits airside in the newer Terminal 3, the most flexible choice for most travellers.
The Premium Lounge
The Premium Lounge in Terminal 2 is a solid airside option for DragonPass holders, with a cold buffet, a bar, power at seats and air conditioning. A reliable pick if you're carrying DragonPass and flying from the older terminal.
The Premium Lounge (Departures)
The Premium Lounge (Departures) in Terminal 2 covers Priority Pass holders, with a cold buffet, a bar and power outlets airside. The natural choice if your membership is Priority Pass rather than DragonPass.
Paradise Arrival Lounge
The Paradise Arrival Lounge is a calmer airside space in Terminal 2 on DragonPass, with Wi-Fi, soft drinks, a light cold spread and air conditioning. A comfortable spot to settle away from the busy terminal floor.

Terminal 2
Terminal 2 is the older of Zanzibar's two passenger buildings and holds most of the airport's lounges. All four here are independent contract lounges sitting airside after security, split between DragonPass and Priority Pass access. Expect a comfortable, air-conditioned space with seating, light food and drinks rather than a large airline-branded operation.

- —The Premium Lounge takes DragonPass; the Departures version takes Priority Pass
- —Paradise Arrival Lounge (DragonPass) and Paradise Arrival Business Lounge (Priority Pass) round out the cluster
- —All are air-conditioned independent contract lounges, not airline lounges
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 is Zanzibar's newer passenger terminal and home to the Marhaba Lounge, the only lounge we track on this side of the airport. It's the most fully featured option at ZNZ, with a hot-food buffet, a bar serving alcohol and both DragonPass and Priority Pass access, sitting airside after security.

Como entrar nas salas VIP em ZNZ.
Zanzibar is a contract-lounge airport: every lounge we track is independent rather than airline-branded, so the way in is a lounge membership or a paid pass, not frequent-flyer status. DragonPass and Priority Pass between them cover all five lounges, with the Marhaba Lounge in Terminal 3 accepting both. Always check which terminal your lounge is in before clearing security.
DragonPass
DragonPass opens the Paradise Arrival Lounge and The Premium Lounge in Terminal 2, plus the Marhaba Lounge in Terminal 3. If you carry one membership at ZNZ, DragonPass covers a wide share of the field.
Priority Pass
Priority Pass is accepted at the Marhaba Lounge in Terminal 3 and at The Premium Lounge (Departures) and the Paradise Arrival Business Lounge in Terminal 2. Check the per-lounge page to confirm which building your lounge is in.
Both networks at Marhaba
The Marhaba Lounge in Terminal 3 is the one ZNZ lounge that accepts both DragonPass and Priority Pass, so it's the safest single target if you're not sure which membership your card provides.
Walk-in entry
Independent contract lounges like these will often sell a walk-in pass at the door subject to space, even without a membership. Availability and price vary, so ask at the desk if you don't hold DragonPass or Priority Pass.
Saiba antes de ir.
Match the membership to the lounge
- —Every ZNZ lounge is a DragonPass or Priority Pass contract lounge — your airline status won't get you in.
- —The Marhaba Lounge takes both networks, so it's the fallback if you're unsure which membership your card carries.
- —DragonPass covers The Premium Lounge and Paradise Arrival Lounge; Priority Pass covers their departures/business counterparts.
Mind the terminal
- —Four of the five lounges are in Terminal 2; the Marhaba Lounge is in the newer Terminal 3.
- —Check which terminal you're departing from before picking a lounge, and clear security first — all five are airside.
- —If you only hold Priority Pass and you're in Terminal 3, the Marhaba Lounge is your option there.
Set your expectations
- —These are compact island-airport contract lounges — comfortable and air-conditioned rather than large flagship spaces.
- —The Marhaba Lounge is the only one we list with a hot buffet and a bar serving alcohol; the others lean to cold snacks and soft drinks.
- —All offer Wi-Fi and air conditioning, a welcome escape from the busy terminal in the Zanzibar heat.
Give yourself time
- —Zanzibar's check-in and security can be slow at peak holiday departure times, so arrive early and don't bank on a long lounge stay.
- —The lounges can fill around the late-afternoon and evening international departure bank.
- —Pre-loading your DragonPass or Priority Pass app before you arrive saves time at the lounge desk.
