Monrovia Roberts Airport Lounges
Roberts International Airport · Monrovia, Liberia
Roberts International (ROB) is Liberia's main gateway, just south-east of Monrovia. We track two lounges here, both airside in the main terminal: the Sanbra Priority Lounge for Star Alliance passengers and the VIP RIA Lounge for oneworld travellers. Each is reached on airline status or a premium-cabin ticket rather than a lounge membership.

Sanbra Priority Lounge
The Sanbra Priority Lounge is the option for Star Alliance flyers, with a complimentary hot buffet, snacks and a full bar of house wine, beer and spirits. Entry is via Star Alliance Gold status or a business-class ticket on a Star Alliance carrier.

Como entrar nas salas VIP em ROB.
Roberts International is an alliance-and-cabin airport rather than a membership one — the two lounges are tied to Star Alliance and oneworld, and you get in with the matching airline status or a premium-cabin ticket. There's no broad Priority Pass or DragonPass coverage here, so check which alliance your airline belongs to before you travel.
Star Alliance status
Star Alliance Gold members travelling on an eligible Star Alliance flight can use the Sanbra Priority Lounge. Present your Star Alliance Gold card with your boarding pass at the door.
oneworld status
oneworld Sapphire and Emerald members flying an eligible oneworld carrier can use the VIP RIA Lounge. Access is for eligible customers travelling on a oneworld member airline only.
Business class ticket
A business-class ticket gets you into your alliance's lounge directly — Star Alliance business passengers use the Sanbra Priority Lounge and oneworld business passengers use the VIP RIA Lounge. It's the simplest route if you're flying premium out of Monrovia.
Match the alliance to your airline
Because each ROB lounge is aligned to a single alliance, the lounge you can use depends on which carrier you're flying. Check whether your airline is in Star Alliance or oneworld, then head for the matching lounge after security.
Saiba antes de ir.
Match the alliance to your airline
- —ROB's two lounges are split by alliance — Sanbra is Star Alliance, VIP RIA is oneworld.
- —Check which alliance your airline belongs to before you fly, so you know which lounge you can use.
- —A business-class ticket on the matching alliance gets you in without any frequent-flyer status.
Both are airside
- —Both lounges sit airside in the main terminal, so clear check-in, immigration and security first.
- —The VIP RIA Lounge is past the duty-free shops, with lounge signage to follow once you're through security.
- —Have your boarding pass and access card or status card ready at the lounge reception.
Hours and timing
- —The VIP RIA Lounge is open 24 hours, handy for late-night and early-morning departures from Monrovia.
- —Check opening hours for the Sanbra Priority Lounge against your flight, as they aren't published around the clock.
- —Allow extra time at ROB — check-in, immigration and security can be slow at peak, so don't count on a long lounge stay.
Eating and working
- —For a fuller pre-flight meal, the Sanbra Priority Lounge has a hot buffet plus complimentary house wine, beer and spirits.
- —The VIP RIA Lounge is the quieter, calmer room — better for resting or light laptop work before a flight.
- —Both lounges offer Wi-Fi; the VIP RIA Lounge reports the more reliable connection for calls and uploads.
